Founded in 1977 by Jean and Alfred Pickles in the Lancashire/Yorkshire border town of Barnoldswick. Quality craftsmanship and attention to detail stood Chic apart from other manufacturers, and our wooden shields and plaques were in demand by retailers across the country for many years.

Following Alf and Jean's passing in 2023 and 2024 respectively, the Chic Engraving brand is now operated by Green Slate Trophies. We hope you will now join us in Burnley as we carry on our newly enlarged business.
